Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) has launched ‘Experia Summer Programme 2013’ which is a comprehensive learning and development platform for the students of top Pakistani universities.
Duration of the program is six weeks.
The internship programme hosts a good mix of fifty technical and business students from prestigious universities including IBA, LUMS, NUST and GIKI.
The programme formally kicked off at a ceremony held at PTCL head office in Islamabad, which revolved around comprehensive orientation sessions aimed at educating the students about the vision, values, business operations and strategic programs of the company.
PTCL Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) HR Syed Mazhar Hussain while speaking at the occasion said that “PTCL Experia programme presents an exclusive opportunity to the best talent to innovate, explore and learn about the telecom industry best-practices as well as getting introduced to the state of the art technology, wide range of products and services offered by the leading telecom company of the country.”
The summer internship programme features comprehensive orientation sessions, guest lecture series by seasoned PTCL officials, coaching sessions and project-based competitions.
These students will be placed in the various departments of the company including commercial, finance, HR and technical functions which will further enrich the exposure of the participating students.The news.
