The students who complete their intermediate or high level exams from different boards and Universities and then they apply for further admission in the Universities. The candidates will have to appear in the National Aptitude Test which is designed by the National Testing Service. The National Testing Service is also assigned for the Graduate Assessment Test which is the compulsory test for grant of admission in MPhil exams in the Universities. This test is declared necessary by the Higher Education Commission and the result of the GAT remains valid for the next two years.
GAT test is taken by the NTS every year but it is taken twice a year and if you miss a chance then you can also appear in the test after two months. The GAT test has three parts, which are taken in English, Analytical and Quantitative for which the candidates have to appear in three separate papers.
